  • Appoint product & technology individuals to focus on accessibility and to promote high standards of inclusive technology practices.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website and course materials. This includes:

  • Regularly reviewing content and platforms to assess accessibility;
  • Updating platforms, technology and materials to improve accessibility; and
  • Where possible, offering alternative formats for key course materials, such as transcripts for videos, audio descriptions, and accessible PDFs.

Feedback

We are committed to making LDI as accessible as possible. If you experience any difficulty accessing our website or course materials, or if you have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us at [email protected]

LDI aims to gather insights from its employees, faculty, agents, and students, especially those with disabilities, to help us identify and address any barriers or challenges that may exist in accessing LDI’s platforms. This feedback allows us to better understand the specific needs and concerns of individuals with disabilities, enabling us to make informed decisions to improve accessibility.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance accessibility for all users.

Current Accessibility Limitations

We recognize that parts of our website and e-learning materials are not yet fully accessible.

These challenges may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Navigation: Certain elements of our website might not be fully optimized for screen readers or keyboard navigation. We are reviewing these areas and aim to make necessary adjustments.
  • Course Content: Some course materials (such as PDFs, videos, or other multimedia content) may not be fully accessible, particularly for users with visual or hearing impairments.
  • Mobile Compatibility: While our website is designed to be mobile-responsive, some content may not display as intended on all devices or screen sizes.

What we’re doing to improve

We’re working hard to improve the accessibility of our websites. We aim to:

  • make our website and course content more accessible by providing alternative formats or supplementary resources
  • make accessibility testing part of our website production pipeline
  • improve our knowledge of accessible design through education and training
  • assess where closed captions can be added to videos and other media.

LDI understands that accessibility is an ongoing process and, so as to continuously improve this, the feedback we receive will help us to measure and identify areas that need improvement, and develop strategies to enhance accessibility on our websites, course content and other communication channels.
