Dr. Maged Abdelaal is a Clinical Associate Professor and Division Director of Prosthodontics at East Carolina University, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at UNC Chapel Hill. He completed his dental training, residency, and first master’s degree at Cairo University, later earning a certificate in Prosthodontics and a second master’s from the University of Iowa.
Dr. Abdelaal is a Fellow of the ITI and the ADEA Leadership Institute, and a member of the ADA, ADEA, AO, and ACP. His interests include complex oral rehabilitation, implant-supported prostheses, and digital dentistry. Dr. Abdelaal is also a teaching faculty member on the Diploma in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry.
