The course
In this two-day, Wire Bending Fundamentals and TADs workshop, Dr. Thomas Ziebura will provide the key technical, practical, and theoretical skills required to gain confidence in the effective use of TADs in orthodontic treatments. Enhance your expertise through practical wire bending techniques and clinical case analysis to routinely integrate TADs into your treatment planning and delivery.
OUTCOMES
UNDERSTANDING THE PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF TADS
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of utilising TADs in orthodontic treatment, including safe and predictable placement of TADs in various sites.
DEVELOPING CHAIR-SIDE MECHANICS SKILLS
Dentists will acquire skills in developing simple chair-side mechanics related to the usage of TADs, including the wire bending that is required to immediately implement learned techniques and approaches in their clinical practice.
APPLICATION TO CLINICAL CASES
Attendees will delve into numerous clinical cases to analyse the usage and impacts of TADs in various treatment scenarios. This will enable them to better understand how TADs can be incorporated into commonly presenting case scenarios, and how this will impact treatment planning and delivery.
SPEAKER
Dr. Thomas Ziebura
Dr. Thomas Ziebura is an Orthodontist based in Hamm, Germany, where he owns an Orthodontic Clinic with his wife Stefanie. He earned his dental license from the University of Munster in 2005 and became an Orthodontic Specialist in 2009.
He has also worked as a Senior Physician at the Polyclinic for Orthodontics in Munster and has published numerous academic papers. At LDi Dr. Ziebura lectures on the Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, teaching the topics of TAD’s and wire bending.
