Bringing Practical Learning into Remote Education
One topic that emerged repeatedly at last month’s conference was the value of practical skills training—and how this can be taught effectively in a remote setting.
Dentists are often surprised at just how practical the LDi learning experience is. Our dedicated practical section within the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is designed specifically to bridge that gap.
Inside, students have access to high-quality video demonstrations, step-by-step procedural guides, and interactive exercises with the option to submit work for direct tutor feedback.

Live Study Club: Exploring Solutions in Tricky Denture Cases
We’re also looking forward to our next Live Study Club on Thursday 1st May at 10:00 BST, hosted by Dr. John Weldon.
The session, Exploring Solutions in Tricky Denture Cases, will take a close look at practical approaches to resolving complex clinical situations in prosthodontics.
This Study Club is particularly relevant to students on the Diploma in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry, though it’s open to anyone with an interest in improving their clinical problem-solving skills in this area.
