As the year draws to a close and festive lights begin to appear, the London Dental Institute has been buzzing with energy. November has brought with it thoughtful reflection, lively learning, and a few exciting developments behind the scenes.
While many are winding down for the holidays, the LDi team has been quite the opposite; full steam ahead with new ideas, engaging sessions, and preparations for an exciting start to 2025.
Here’s what we’ve been up to!
The Spotlight on Our Live Study Clubs
If there’s one thing that continues to unite the LDi community, it’s the Live Study Clubs.
These sessions have quickly become a highlight for dentists across all programmes: an opportunity to connect, share, and learn together in a dynamic, supportive space.
October saw two Study Clubs on Wednesday 8th and two on Friday 31st, bringing together a combined 477 attendees. It’s wonderful to see so many dentists engaging in these discussions, contributing thoughtful questions, and sharing their own clinical insights.
With four more Study Clubs scheduled for December, topics will span orthodontics, implantology, and restorative dentistry. For anyone who hasn’t yet joined one, they offer a perfect glimpse into the LDi learning experience, collaborative, practical, and full of ideas you can take straight back to clinic.

Something Exciting on the Horizon!
Behind the scenes, the LDi team has been taking a creative step back, reflecting on who we are as an institute and where we’re heading next. Over the past few weeks, there’s been plenty of discussion about identity, design, and the learning experience we offer.
It’s been a thoughtful process: revisiting what makes the LDi distinct, and how we can continue to grow while staying true to our purpose; supporting dentists in building skill, confidence, and connection.
Without giving too much away, some exciting updates are in motion. A refreshed look and feel is taking shape for the new year, one that reflects how far the Institute has come and the vibrant community that continues to grow around it.
